How CareerFlyt collects, uses, and protects your data.
What we collect
Account details (email, name), your uploaded resume and the profile data you approve, jobs you save or import, application materials you generate, and usage events needed for billing and quotas.
How we use it
Solely to provide the product: parsing your resume, scoring and tailoring applications, and showing your own analytics. We do not sell personal data or use your resume content to train models.
AI processing
Resume and job text is sent to our AI provider (Google Gemini via Vertex AI) to generate your materials. Content is processed per that provider's data-handling terms.
Your controls
You can export all of your data as JSON and delete all of your data from account settings at any time. Organization admins can additionally configure automatic retention windows.
Retention
Data is kept while your account is active unless your organization sets shorter retention windows. Deleted data is removed from live systems immediately and from backups on the backup rotation schedule.
